NOTARY SERVICES
Our notarial services
Corporate Notary provides notarial services for companies, solicitors, accountants and private clients who need Irish documents accepted abroad.
The most common services are set out below. If your document is unusual, send it to us with the instructions you received from the foreign lawyer, authority, bank or registry. We will confirm the correct route before you attend.
Corporate and commercial notarisation
We assist Irish and international companies with notarial certification of corporate documents, including board resolutions, directors' resolutions, certificates of incorporation, good-standing or incumbency certificates, constitutions, company registers, share documents, transfer documents, commercial contracts, corporate powers of attorney and documents for foreign company registrations.
Apostille and legalisation
Many notarised documents need a second certification step before they will be accepted abroad. For Hague Convention countries, this is usually an apostille from the Department of Foreign Affairs. For other countries, the document may also need embassy or consular legalisation.
Powers of attorney
We prepare and notarise powers of attorney for use abroad, including documents for foreign property transactions, corporate purposes, litigation or legal proceedings abroad, and requirements set by foreign lawyers, banks or registries.
Certified copies, declarations and affidavits
We provide certified true copies of original documents and deal with affidavits, statutory declarations, affirmations and sworn statements required for use overseas.
